I believe its more or less a copyright issue Abe Babe because thats a big thing in the art world. I know because I am a freelance artist and Ive done lots of work for several clients in the past year or so and I have to say I did pretty good in my first year of freelance work. Anyway what I am saying is its probabally for security among artist who don't want their work stolen.

But here is a solution to this issue. All you do (and this is what I do at least) is when you sign your work when your finnished with it beside your signature add the copyright symbol "©" followed by the year (2004).

Ive learned and have seen from other professional works that the artist always signs it this way. Infact I sign my work with "DR ©2004". This way it will ansure security. Now with that in mind then you can post it anywhere.
