I missed the crossbows and distortion waves on my first viewings, so I decided to take another look at the screenshots.
The first image is indeed beautifully lit, and well decorated (in a sense
), if with uninteresting furniture. My mum appeared while I was looking at it, even she said it looked terrific.
So there. As much as I'd love to stuff that fat cock (What? It's a male chicken!) into his own furnace, I have to admit the picture of the eggs (maybe his own unhatched children?) is adorable, in a weird sort of way. I still don't understand how Clakkerz are meant to open books or tune radios with those feathers, though.
The crossbow in the second picture looks sublime. I'm personally not familiar with large explosions producing distortion effects, Majic, so I couldn't say whether that's realistic or not. The Thud-Slugs looks like it might have armour upgrades already. Mum was a bit distrubed by the Chippunk, though. The more she looked at it, the less she liked it, and rushed out of the room. She said it looked like, "Something you'd pull out of a hat." Your guess is as good as mine. Again, the rocks, and this time the trees, look great.
