Nothing in particular, it's just that most of the recent posts have been along the lines of "I'm too skinny" or "I'm too fat". Too skinny are the kids in Africa who die of malnutrition. Too fat are the Americans you see on TV who weigh 300 pounds or more and for whom it's an ordeal to move around and who die of heart disease in their middle years. I am, in general, against complaining about minor inconveniences when there are people with problems that are life-threatening.

They're complaining but it's not as if they think they're better, I don't think you understand the meaning of vain. Complaining about your looks isn't vain, claiming that your looks are better is. And though it may seem vain in that farfetched sense, it's really not, besides noone here said they were 'too' fat or 'too' skinny, they're simply implying that they would rather not be so.
