"Shit, there's no way we can jump!" said Rex.
Then he notices a small out crop of rocks further down. "It's a risk, but I'll take it to save the planet!" he said pulling a long rope from his small bag. He tied it to his spear while the others watched. "I'm gonna' abseil down to that outcrop further down, Spider, if the ground breaks I wan't you to hold onto the spear!" He stuck the spear into the ground a way back from the edge.
"Hold on!"....
