Even if I would only have to pay an extra $30 or so after taxes to get a new one, I would still want my old one for all my saved games.
I swear, if I somehow conjure up enough money to get my 'box fixed and it gets back without my saved games, I'm gonna hella pissed. So much progress lost... so many hours wasted.

mabey a repair shop.... they could take the memory and put it into a new xbox..... my friend had that done with his.... he lost a few files, but most of em were still there... (poor guy lost his Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic file)
