Grid watched Spider starting to follow the weird puny thing. Not so puny anymore though. Grid leapt high into the air, and suddenly a surge of pain went though his body.
"Argh!!" he cried in midair, suddenly he found he couldn't move. He tried desperately to flap his wings, but couldn't.
"Aw crap."
He fell at a startling pace, still unable to control himself, he was completely paralysed. He hit the ground with a dull thud, and everything turned black.
