No. "Lol" should never be used. Ever
It has got to be the most viley overused internet acronym, despite being replaced by keying a few simple words. Anti-lol (and internet shorthand in general) is one of my dedicated campaigns, along with telling my friends how crappy most of their musical taste is, and how much this theater they always go to sucks.
