In defence of CB, you were being a bit presumptuous codek saying that I didn't mind because I hadn't responded. Not everyone can spend all day every day online checking the forums. And yes, I did step out of the forums for a while but then so did you.
In defence of myself, I was not the only person other than codek to request a name change. And I really think that codek had no right to give any response as he's not a mod. AbeBabe & co can give me any answer they want and I'll accept it happily.

I was presuming you didn't care because I wanted CB to realise that she is arguing for you when she doesn't even know whether you have a problem with it or not. The idea was to shut her up but it didn't work. I don't expect you to be checking the forums all the time.
The reason that I felt I had the right to respond to your request for a name change, is because I was told that if I had my name changed, then I would be in danger of setting off a trend of name changing. Or at least requesting name changing. This would've led to a lot of people being turned down, and a lot of questions about why I got a name change and they didn't. I felt that I was the only person who should be taking a reasonably active step toward preventing that happening, since I am responsible for it starting.
You are right, I am not a moderator, but I am well aware of the situation. If people start getting the wrong ideas about my name change, then the moderators may have all sorts of problems on their hands, and I may end up with my name being changed back to Death. I hope you understand that I was merely protecting myself and the moderators by cautioning you like I did.
Although what I said wasn't exactly "nice", it had to be said. You need to understand that. I'd rather sacrafice my time to a small disagreement now and avoid a whole big disagreement over name changes later on. It saves a lot of grief in the long run.
