so question: are there ANY 1-4 or even 1-2 player RPG's on PS2? The only game I could really see that involved more than one player was Rainbow Six 3. Needless to say I walked out sans PS2.

RPGs are hardly ever multiplayer unless you go the MMO route. But if you just want some good multiplayer games in general, I really wouldn't be able to help you. I'm not big on MP games since my internet sucks and I can't play online. But there are a few good games the I know of with MP like SOCOM 2, Contra: Shattered Soldier, and Neo Contra.
