IAlmost all RPGs have timers in them, and there is no way I would have thought that I played 250 hours on FFX if it wasn't for the timer.

Timers ARE a great idea, in a frightening sort of way!!! Sometimes I look at the hours I've clocked on a game and I say...holy crap that's almost X amount of days of my life!!!
But a timer in the Oddworld games would be a great idea!
