This is the new millenium for god's sake, we're supposed to be advancing and gaining on new horizons, but these friggin war-torn countries are dragging us down with them, right back into the stone age. We should just say, "Hey look, if you guys want to spend the next few decades throwing rocks at each other, fine. If you change your mind and want to reach us, we'll be in space building advanced computers and crap that you wouldn't even know what to do with at this point."
