You can't use lousy spelling and grammar on the 'net to say someone is dumb. Seriously, its all about banging out your message quickly. I see the beheadings as a real turning point in AQ's and other terrorist network's strategy. Indiscriminate bombing tends to piss off the very people you want to get on your side and is lacking flavor. Seriously, car bombings don't mean crap any more. BUT kidnap someone and put a very personal, very real image of destruction and fear in someone's head and they take notice. That, my friends, is why a beheading is front page and a car bombing 18B.
Edit: American soldiers have committed numerous atrocities during this war, are you so surprised that terrorists are willing to commit them if it causes people to take heed? Mark my words: There will be more kidnappings and murdering unless we do two things. Negotiate with the terrorists and get the hell out of Iraq.
