I've always loved the Green and Black design that Xbox offers, it's much more different and original than all these clich'e multicoloured/translucent consoles.

Ugh. Nothing about the Xbox's design is original. It's designed to look cool to the "Xtreme" generation, hence the "X" in the title. Green and black is a very sci-fi aliens are gonna blow up the world kinda scheme.
You want originality? Gamecube comes in Indigo, Orange, Blue, Black, and Platinum. None of those colors are special edition either. Whereas if you wanted a different colored Xbox, it would HAVE to be special edition... or paint it yourself.
