It may be because you are trying to run a PAL version on an NTSC computer. Or at least that's how the game consoles function. If you want to play it on your computer, you'll most likely have to use illegal software to temporarily change your area (PAL, NTSC, etc).
But, I'm in no way suggesting you do such an illegal thing

Well lets just say someone would want to use such a program... not me ofcourse, I would never do that... but where exactly could one find such a program?
