How about this for the name of the river. "The Mudomic River!" Hehe oh well even though its made up by me I think it sounds like a nice place holder before we find out more information. But I dunno.
Wait a minute what if the Karati Blobs are Mudflubs? hmm they seem to match the description as being real fat creatures.
