Part 3

*Setting: The dank alleyway reaked of excrement and rotting garbage whilst the slushy ground was a mixture of foul Rat urine and mud. Looking up the industrialised Mudokon cast his eyeline to the sky. It would have been a beautiful night if it wasn't for the mass of thick smoke masking the twinkling skies. The Mudokon adjusted his black leather jacket, zipping it up as he walked slowly to the end of the alleyway and towards the street. The alleyway itself was quite large, which was what it needed to be for the waste disposal trucks. Three large skips were positioned next to the building on the right. Their yellow paint tainted with filth and graffiti. Slowly walking past them the Mudokon placed his hands in his jacket pockets and bowed his head slightly, shivering as a cold breeze swept around him. Seemingly clawing at his tender skin.
*Clunk-Clunk*
Turning behind him the Mudokon stopped as he was just passing the second skip, a metal bin was rolling gently back and forth on its side. The contents spilling out onto the ground and causing yet more mess. Slowly he carried on walking in the direction he was doing so, still watching the bin with a certain tenseness. Taking his third step, the Mudokon then turned his head back to the front to watch where he was going, only to feel a harsh 'phwack' of something hitting his stomach. He doubled over, winded. His hands came out of his pockets almost immediatly as he landed on all fours, his fingers steadily sinking into the slick sludge of the alleyway.*

Male voice: "Aww, poor ickle girlie-girl."

The speaker scoffed upon saying this, the voice full of menace and intimidation. Slowly the Mudokon lifted his head, aided in this motion by something curved and wooden...a Hockey stick.

Mudokon: "W-Wh..."

As he tried to speak to the tall, Hockey mask wearing creature, he was raised onto his knees by the stick. Gently he rubbed his stomach, trying to sooth the pain of the blow as the cold, moist ground seeped into his jeans.

Male #1: "Shhhhh, i'm unimportant."

The male turned his head slightly, looking towards the street to make sure nobody had noticed the incident. Realising nobody was there, the being then raised his Hockey stick in the air and brought the curved end down on the left shoulder of the Mudokon. A loud and vile crunch was emitted as the bone shattered, quickly followed by the Mudokons agonised screams which were cut short by a second male placing the middle of his Hockey stick in the beings mouth. Hands on either ends of the stick the second male, also wearing a Hockey mask, pulled the stick towards him, forcing it further into the Mudokons mouth and subdueing the screams into fairly loud groans.

Male #1: "Heh, that's a good girl. You just stay quiet."

As he said this he positioned himself so his left side was facing the kneeling, "gagged" Mudokon. He then grasped the Hockey stick in a manner that a Hockey player would and tapped it twice on the ground. A tear streaked down the right cheek of the distressed Mudokon as he eyed the black, suit wearing creature up, hoping he was bluffing. He wasn't. Swinging the stick upwards, the attacker caused the curved back of the stick to impact with the bottom jaw of the Mudokon. The pain was excrutiating as the jaw was practically severed in two. Upon impact blood spurted from the mouth, followed by cracked and shattered teeth in which some were swallowed. Taking the Hockey stick from his mouth, the second male stood back and watched as the creature flopped forwards coughing and groaning in sheer agony. The second male then raised his Hockey stick and brought it down on the outstretched hand of the Mudokon, shattering it in much the same way they did the jaw. The creatures immediate reaction was to pull it towards him and clench it tightly with his unharmed hand, although this did little, if anything, to ease the pain.

Male voice: "What the f*ck are you two playing at? The job was to kill the poor bastard, not f*cking torture him."

It was clear now that this wasn’t just a random attack. But a hired one. And the Jury were the guys who had received the job. The Mudokon was in association with a Smuggling ring. Smuggling different creatures [beit rare or common] to different parts of Oddworld. The person who had hired the Bounty Hunters was most likely in the same faction as the known terrorist Abe, although admitedly a lot more violent and pre-emptive. Still, the Jury didn’t care who hired them, so long as they got the cash they so desired. The third male who had appeared was the leader, like the other two he wore a Hockey mask and completely black attire bar one item of clothing – a tie. This was red. He stepped around the Mudokon who was hunched on the ground sobbing and coughing up blood. He would have probably writhed in agony if he knew it wouldn’t cause him pain, but thus far even breathing intensified the agony.

Leader: "What a f*cking mess…"

He crouched down and reached into his jacket pocket, bringing out a small knife with a black handle and a shiny, 7 inch blade. He then grasped the Mudokons blue plume of feathers, pulled him up so his head was facing upwards and then slashed his throat. Black blood gushed out immediately, spraying the first two Orkhids with it’s fountain-like spurt.

Leader: "Here, hurry up and take the photo."

He reached into his trouser pocket this time and brought out a small, disposable camera. He then underhanded it to the first Orkhid and waited for the photograph to be taken. A small flash in the dark alleyway indicated it had been, in which he then pushed the Mudokons head forward and stood up, watching as the creature flopped forwards and twitched gently before dieing.

Leader: "Come on, let’s get out of here before anybody spots this mess you two made."

*Setting: The small, wooden surfaced room, was barely big enough for the pair of them. The lone light bulb swung from side to side, causing both their shadows to become estranged and twisted. There were two doors in the room, the exit which was situated behind Iber. And the small bedroom, in which his mark lay, which was behind his opponant. The cracking of the two whips were barely intimidating to the partially insane Isore, who looked at the Orkhid wielding them with a certain contempt. The Orkhid was a Bodyguard for a high profile Vykker Surgeon, who seemingly wanted to save some money by hiring just one protector. However, Iber recognised the creature. He was one of the best that money could buy, and so it was no surprise that the Vykker believed he would be substantial enough to counter any attacks. The Orkhid was quite small though, a mere 5 ft 5 compared to Iber’s 6 ft 4 and had a large mustache and partial beard. His eyes were grey and his hair a shade of browny-black. The clothing he wore bore resemblance to a Western. With a mouse-brown Cowboy hat and a long mouse-brown trench coat. The trousers he wore were black leather and his black knee-high boots were equipped with silver spurs in the shape of stars. Studying the short, yet dangerous being, Iber noticed that he was wearng a black bulletproof vest that looked like it was made from some kind of metal. Cracking the two whips towards him, the Orkhid stepped forwards, smirking. For a brief second the right side of the Orkhids jacket pulled back, revealing the handle of a bulky Revolver, much larger than Iber’s two weapons.*

Orkhid: "Whatsa matter, boy? You afraid of ma girls? Huh?"

By "girls" he meant his whips. Both of which were tipped with a small metallic point. His accent was Texan, and drawled on in much the way a Texans does. Smirking, Iber watched as the whips reached out for him, stopping inches away from his face as a loud ‘crack’ was emitted by them. He took one step back and growled, watching the Orkhids movements.

Iber: "You are not Iber's prey, enemy-of-mine. Why don’t you save yourself the pain and step away?"

The Orkhid laughed in a loud guffaw. Revealing his Pearly white teeth as his eyes stared intently at the Insect.

Orkhid: "Don't be so silly, boy. Ma reputation will not be hindered by some overgrown Cockroach. No, sir."

Iber cocked his head to the side, his antennae twitching slightly. Black bile seeped from the left corner of his mouth and gently he nodded.

Iber: "Very well, enemy-of-mine. Very well."

Again the Orkhid laughed, allowing the whips to drop down to his side, he then caused them to curl and writhe around as if they were Snakes.

Orkhid: "Call me Harlon, boy. It’s easier for you to say when you’re begging me for mercy. Heh."

As he said this he brought his right arm back and lunged it forwards, causing the whip to fly through the air with the tip heading straight for Iber’s left eye. But in a fraction of a second, Iber raised his left hand and caught the leather weapon in his hand. He then wrapped the whip three times around his hand and tugged on it softly, letting Harlon know that he had a good grasp on the weapon. In response Harlon cracked the second whip to the side, turning briefly to look at the closed door which hid the Vykker who, assumingly, lay asleep. He then brought his arm back and once again flung it towards Iber in the same way he did the first, hoping that Iber’s first catch was a fluke. It wasn’t. And once again he caught it and wrapped it around his hand. The whip was tensed tightly and both creatures tugged on each end slightly, trying to see if the other would let go.

Harlon: "Heh. Well, I guess we’re in stallmate, huh?"

The large Insect smirked cockily, a glint of insanity flickering across its face as Harlon watched it’s previously buttoned jacket slowly unbutton as if by magick. And as he watched he saw two, small Revolver nozzles slowly peek out from the center of it, closely followed by Iber’s secondary arms. Harlon smirked, trying to hide his fear. But Iber could see it. Gently it rose off him, waving softly upwards.

Harlon: "Well, ain't you jus' full o' surprises?"

*Boom-Boom*
The bullets soared through the air, hitting the Orkhid in the centre of his thighs and causing him to fall on his knees in agony. Iber then unravelled the whip that were around his hands and dropped them to the ground, stepping forwards quickly. Feeling his inevitable doom, the Orkhid reached for his Revolver with his right hand, pulled it out and hit the hammer of it with the palm of his left hand. The gunshot rang out loudly as the bullet sailed forth and hit Iber in his left shoulder. He ignored the impact, feeling the bullet go right through his skin and bone but not acknowledging the pain. Harlon tried to fire for a second time, being halted in this action by the large, bare foot of the Insect pushing him back against the wall. The force was fierce and as the seconds passed loud cracking sounds was emitted by his ribs breaking. The doubled pain of his gunshot wounds accompanied by his broken ribs was enough to make him drop his Ivory handled weapon. Looking down at the pathetic being, writhing in agony underneathe his foot, Iber slowly reached behind his back and removed his Sickle. The Orkhid stared Iber in his main eyes, looking deep into their glowing yellow as the Sickle was carefully moved closer to his face. Slowly Iber hooked the end of the Sickle into the creatures bottom left eyelid, watching as a gentle stream of blood trickled down the Orkhids pale face. Suddenly a wave of fear seemed to gush out from the creatures body, like a mass of smoke from a blocked Chimney that was suddenly unblocked.

Harlon: "If you’re gonna kill me, boy. I suggest you do it quick, for your own sake."

A gentle smile graced Iber’s face. Disappearing in a foul grimace as he tugged his arm down and dug the Sickle deep beneathe the bottom eyelid. The force of the pull then caused the skin to be sliced, cutting a deep mark into Harlons face which ran from his left eye down to the left corner of his mouth. The gentle trickle of blood was replaced by a mass flow as it spurted viciously and coated the Sickles blade in black. Harlon screamed out as the blade was sharply removed and caused a mark which was sure to scar him for ever more. His hands reached up, grasping his face as blood gushed between his fingers and over his chest and body. Placing the Sickle back in it’s holster, Iber then grasped the top of Harlon’s Cowboy hat and took it off, revealing a mass of longish hair. Placing it on top of his own head he then adjusted it to make it more comfortable. And with one last kick to the side of the head, Harlon was knocked unconcious and left to bleed out. As Iber slowly made his way to his Bounty…

(OOC: Crap, i know, but still. Any questions?)
