If you've never met an African American you may think that they are all drug dealers and gangsta rappers cos thats the way the media portrays them. Similarly if you've grown up in the middle of a small country town and all you've ever heard about Jews is what you've been told by your parents (who've never met one either) then you'll probably get some small details wrong
