No, that's why SOME religions don't work. Don't forget that there are some religions (okay, maybe they're cults) that advocate having sex with as many people as often as possible.
Even then, I think this is probably more of a cultural thing than a religious thing - Parents too self-conscious to do the right thing by their kids. There is no religion that says sex is a completely bad thing. At least no religion that lasted more than one generation (Essenes, here we come...)
