Bear in mind those that disagree with popular opinion probably don't speak up. I sure wouldn't want to get blasted and ruin my image against the majority.

Noone cares. I know this because people who have something to say say it loudly and proudly with little regard of what others think. I live in a community where people (well, the kids anyway) don't give a damn about what happens and we all fit in perfectly. I guess we all have our worries and doubts deep down, but we're very good at hiding them and we walk around all day with a neutral look among our faces thinking about the present and never about the past or the future. I know, we sound pitiful, but really, is the future (which you really have little control over) that important? Is the past worth recollecting unless something exciting happened? No. We all have our own thoughts and feelings, but our minds are, as Mr. Gore calls them, "lock-boxes".
