Speaking in terms of Christianity, you are only to have sex with the mindset of producing a child. Otherwise you abstain, as you would need to use contraception in preventing a pregnancy, which is, as well all know, not allowed. How can some of you take to truth some aspects of the bible, but disregard the others?
Oh, wait. I do know the reason. It's because you're selfish pigs. You'll disregard the rules that would hinder your lifestyle, but take those rules which keep you 'safe' to extreme truth. So which do you choose? Do you choose to accept homosexuality as being okay (along with many other biblical laws otherwise seen as wrong), and masturbate as well? Or do you abstain from masturbating, and treat homosexuals like the devil incarnate?
I'm sorry, but you can't have the best of both worlds. It's taking the word of the Bible into your own hands, and interpreting it in your own perspective, taking on board what you like and dislike. When we next have an argument concerning Christianity, your beliefs will mean moot.
(Once again, this wasn't directed at anyone, as I know every single Christian here has basically the same mindset. Also, I realise the above paragraphs seem rather harsh. But can you blame me?)
