Merf, here's some new chars I came up with: Greater Sligs. Some facts: They are herbivores, 'bout 8 feet tall, males have spines, females have outlinings on eyes, are mammals, live in herds under dominant male and female, during pup season individual couples break off of herd and regroup in 3 months, pups stay with their parents for 2 years, main predator is the Panthis!
These are my main GS's, Xian (pronounced Zi-ann) the male on the right, and the female Tsentra (Cent-rah) on the left. The two pups are Ksyar (Zi-ar, named after grandfather) the gray male, and the female Kyu (Like the letter "Q") the green-brown pup.
