As the Quintology is the continuing story of Abe’s travels from the distant primary industries based in less economically developed region to the heart of consumerism in the big cities, I’d guess that not until the fifth hero will we finally reach the truly big cities on Oddworld.
Hopping back to mutation, I tried outlining a horror fanfic about a Vykker expedition to some swamp where experiments with a substance (which actually exists, though I forget the name... pitchblend?) lead to mutations and such. Not exactly on par with radioactive sources of energy, though.
