Head Hunter...

*Setting: A raggedly dressed Mudokon darted through the city alleyways, panting and coughing as he slid in the foul sludge-like mud that was carpeting the ground. Diving over the worn torn bin liners and sleeping homeless, the Mudokon knew he couldn't outrun his persuer and for a fleeting moment contemplated fighting back. But as the gentle humming sound of the beings beating wings got louder, he realised what he was up against. As he turned around for, what seemed like, the 1000th time the Mudokon failed to notice a cluster of bins up ahead and before he could react, ended up hitting them full on. The clatter was loud, causing the homeless to stir and situp to see what the comotion was. Scrambling in the filth of the alleyway the flatflooded biped felt as if his Heart was going to explode with panic.
*Thump*
Upon clambering to his feet, a fierce weight hit the top half of his back. Sending him sprawling forwards, sliding in the grime. He now knew this would be the best time to beg. Turning, his lip trembling, the Mudokon pined out. Asking his chaser to show him mercy, but he knew Iber wouldn't. He was the most ruthless in the business, and thus the best. Looking up at the being, who was cloaked in darkness, he could sense his disappointment. Sense its exileration of the chase. Sense its need for more.*

Iber: "Iber is tempted to let you run off again, you know? Tempted to see if you have learned anything from this little escapade."

Mudokon: "Oh please!! I beg you, Iber!! I beg you!! Let me have another chance to escape. Please!! I'll be better this time, i sw..."

Iber stepped forward, half illuminated by one of the moons which was now only half covered by cloud. It was clear that the creature was an Isore. An Insect-like creature, renowned for their two penis' and four arms. Ibers secondary arms were hidden however, concealed beneath his light brown leather jacket that stretched down to his ankles. His primary arms were in the sleeves. Dangling inanimatly as he spoke. His large, oval eyes glowed a soft yellow whilst the smaller, black, circular ones blinked softly. Picking up scent trails.

Iber: "Tell Iber, oh-prey-of-mine, why he would want you to do better? Hmm...risk losing his money. His reputation."

Slowly climbing to his feet the Mudokon stuttered, trying to compose himself in the negotiation that could mean the difference between life and death.

Mudokon: "B-Because the...the chase was a little, little quick. Over too quick, i'd say."

Raising his left brow Iber stepped forward, his mouth opening ever-so-slowly revealing a row of razor sharp teeth. Black bile running over them as his pointed, pink tongue curled in his mouth.

Iber: "So, prey-of-mine, would you like another chance? A chance to die tired?"

Backing away from Iber, and getting prepared to run for his life for a second time, the Mudokon nodded. But as he did so, Iber leapt forward, his coat parting slightly in the middle to reveal his brown insect body. His left arm shot out and his, two fingered, one thumbed, hand grasped the throat of the Mudokon, pushing him backwards as his eyes seered into him.

Iber: "But what if Iber grows tired? What if Iber grows weary? What if, after Iber slaughters you, he is so tired he cannot carry on with his other two Bounties he has tonight? Hmmm...? What if, prey-of-mine?"

As he hissed these sinister words, Iber reached behind him with his right arm and fumbled under his jacket, a clicking of a latch could be heard as well as the scraping of metal upon metal. Pushing the quivering Mudokon down to his knees, Iber looked deep into its eyes. Seeing the beings fear rise off of him. The Mudokon exclaimed in pure fear, attempting to break away but been halted by Ibers tight grasp upon the crown of his head.

Mudokon: "Iber!! Please!! Plea..."

Iber interrupted.

Iber: "May the Lord have mercy on your Soul."

Slowly he raised his right arm, the light of the moon sillouetting the shape of a large Sickle.

Mudokon: "No, no, no, no..."

He seemed to chant this word as sweat seeped from every pore on his body and the ground beneathe him began to smoke from the steam of his Urine.
*Swoooshkkk*
In one swing of his arm, the Sickle had sliced through both skin, muscle and bone. Leaving a bloodied, headless neck-stump spurting blood in the air like a fountain of Oil. The fingers twitched gently as the body slowly cockled over to the side, spilling blood into the grime. Holding the head by the darkened plume of feathers, Iber looked deeply into the eyes. The eyes that had once been so full and were now...so empty. He then opened his coat with his secondary hands, revealing a harness that wrapped around his torso and held two Revolvers either side of his small secondary appendages. With his secondary, right hand, Iber reaches down for a small brown, cloth bag that hangs saggily on his left hip. Unhooking the holder, he brings the bag up and with both secondary hands holds it open as his left arm drops the head in. He then hangs the bag back on his hip, ignoring the stain of blood that is being soaked by the bag and would eventually begin to drip. Buttoning his jacket up, Iber then looks skyward and opens his wings sharply. His wings are large and Fly-like, retracting from the inside of his jacket through subtle slits on either side of the fabric, they then outstretch and beat. Leaping upwards Iber flies to the top of the nearest building, his wings creating the soft humming sound that puts fear into so many beings Hearts. Taking a long hard look at the bustling city, Iber then goes forth to the next bounty he's assigned to...

(OOC: I'm tired hence the crapness. So sorry.)
