I have both Oddworld Adventures and Oddworld Adventures 2 on Gameboy... and I think they are pretty good for Gameboy games (remember Gameboy games are usually less complex than PSX/PC games anyway.
As Melvin said, the storyline is pretty non-existant... and you will also find that the levels are sometimes simplified versions of the Oddysee/Exoddus levels.
I guess the main thing that I like about those two games is that you are able to play Oddworld wherever you are (i.e. like I play Oddworld when travelling to the US on the airplane).
There was mentions of an Xbox handheld about 6 months ago... but I haven't heard anything about it since then.
