You mean an entirely different FMV? So the Vykker Auction wasn't good enough for you?
Seriously though, the FMVs take months to make so just adding one more would screw up the whole timeline and budget. Plus it would confuse things if the game ended differently. Generally we approach sequels as if the good ending was the only one that happened. If there was a new 'perfect' ending, which would be the one to continue the larger plot?
Personally I like the way they did it, with the new newspaper to extend the plot slightly (as in you didn't just win but you screwed up the industrial economy as well) but not change it.
