Yes I have heard of the Hudson's Bay Company! He probably works for the corporate office of what is the oldest department store in existence. The Bay is Canada's most popular department store! I was there last night actually!
Ah Niagara Falls, I was there a few weekend ago actually! And it shouldn't be snowy in Toronto! I am in Ottawa, about 4 hours North of Toronto, and we don't have too much snow (it's still here though). However, Toronto is generally much warmer than here.
I haven't been to Whitby, however I have driven through it several times. I have never heard of this hospital, perhaps I will have to make a stop next time I drive through it though!

Hmm, so lets see, you are 3 hours and 15 minutes from niagra falls yes? That's quite a considerable ways closer to the north pole than Toronto, so I guess it would be warmer there!
