Though I think you stated it a bit harsh, Esus, you're a bit right to some extent. Back when I was a middle school, I now see everybody was a self-centered prick trying to gain sympathy for themselves, putting them into a "depressed" mindset. I still say all the attention put on it is partly the cause of so many people supossedly being depressed. I've probably only met one person I can truly vouch for, and that would be my ex. She's a freaking lunatic.
There's a major difference between people with true depression and them sympathy fishers; one group I can sympathize with, the others should stop whining and get out more.
