I don't care that Bush does not agree with gay marriage, many people do not. The thing I believe is crazy is that he wants to pass a constitutional amendment banning gays from having the same freedoms as straight people. It is not a fact that homosexuality is a sickness, it is just your opinion. I mean who is to say what a person can and cannot due with their life if it is not hurting a soul. This is a moral issue. The large majority of people dissagree with the KKK, many believe it is wrong and sick. The KKK still has the right to hold rallies no matter how much people don't like it. If a president has the right to take away controversial marriage, then why doesn't he take away controversial rallies... or why not controversial speech, perhaps we should send our country back 100 years? Freedoms are being taken away as we speak. After Janet Jackson's nipple incededent, censorship has been widespread through the U.S.
