Well, I disagree in just a few aspects. I myself the only time I got a movie before it came out was Episode 2. And the quality was even better than VHS, and almost up to DVD quality. Plus I had seen the movie like three or four times in theatres, and when it came out, I bought it on VHS, and DVD. Not to mention I am a huge SW Fan, and I give so much money for the action figures and collectibles for my collection. The same with LOTR.

Ive allready seen ROTK in theaters like three times, and I dont want to wait that much longer (may) to see it on DVD, so I am tempted to see if my friend can get me a good copy of it just to hold me over. I but for each movie the normal version and Extended when it comes out. So in my opinion as long as you are planning to see it when it is in theaters, and also planning on getting it when it officially is released, I dont see the complete problem.

I think the problem is more so with people who dont even bother to see it when it comes out or buy it legally when its finally released.
Don't worry about it. You've mentioned this before and I've never had a problem with it. You're planning on buying the DVD when it comes out, so I don't see anything wrong with that. I only have a problem with people who use Kazza as their video store. The people who plan on using their downloaded copy as the only copy for their movie.
