For the people who don't believe in Nessie, Loch Ness is twenty-four miles (39 km) long, but only about a mile (1.6 km) wide.Until 1970, it was thought that the lake was about 754 feet (230 m) deep.So there has to be a living creature in the lake of Loch Ness.

Here is an interesting story of a man called John Cobb's death in Loch Ness:

One of the strangest stories connected with Nessie has to do with the death of a famous water racer.John Cobb was known as the fastest man on Earth because he held the land speed record. He brought a jet-propelled boat to Loch Ness to try and set a water speed record. One of the reasons Cobb chose Loch Ness was the surface calm of the loch. When Cobb had the boat up to 205 miles (330 km) per hour, strange ripples suddenly appeared in front of it.The speeding boat hit the waves and bounced, exploding on contact.Cobb was killed. For many people, there was no doubt that Nessie caused the tragedy.

Here is a picture of John Cobb (left) and I believe the boat he exploded in (right)
