i still think there are some out there. Hell, we know more about the moon then we do about the sea. Something that big wont just die out.

Well perhaps Megalodon is still alive. It would have to be a creature that lives in the open sea and no where near land. If anything it would live on an ociean ridge half way from the bottom to the top in the partally lit part of the sea.
Well the only explantion why this monster could be extinct is because probabally man hunted this creature to extinction. Something that big remindes me of whaleing. You can kill this shark by harpooning it just like a whale. It probabally was a favorite delicasy in ancient times. I mean have you ever had shark? Shark is really good. I would have to admit that would have been a spectacular sight indeed to see fisher men go up against this beast. I mean imagine the fierocity of this shark. Good God it must have been one hell of a fish. I am sure catching that would be a prize and made someone rich. It definetly was probabally hunted by man in the same fashion as how whales get hunted. But I think there still out there.
I love the ociean its such a cool place.
