My favorite is FFVII. I really enjoyed the battle system and game play, as well as interesting characters and a storyline that keeps you interested the whole game through. Plus Sephiroth is in there!!!
Although I really wasn't a fan of him when I first became a fan of this game.
I also really like FFX and Vagrant Story. And for something a little different, Diablo 2.
