Wednesday 7/30/03 We are in the thick of it over here. The first table read was Monday, as mentioned in an earlier blog by one of my partners. We have been re-writing around the clock. At the same time, we need to finish breaking the rest of the stories for season one while writing the next script. Typical show stuff. Everything is going really well. The episodes are all hilarious and, having just left a casting meeting, our voices will all be just as funny. In fact, the first voice records happened this week. Everyone nailed their parts. Our cast is amazing. The other big exciting news around here right now is that the good people over at Abe's Oddysey (and Abe's Exoddus and Munch's Oddysey) are working with us to put Abe and a few of his enemies into our first episode. For those of you who haven't encountered these enormously popular games, let me just say that they are awesome. Also, we got a sneak peak of the new one that's in the works. I am, of course, sworn to never mentioning to anyone what I've seen, but all you gamers out there should be very excited. Keep checking in for the latest dirt, and feel free to disregard anything the Fish says. That's right, Fish, I'm coming after you! --R.V.
