This guy I used to work with in tech support. He was okay at first as he was just learning the job. But he was there for over 6 months and he would still ask me questions that he had asked over and over again. And he would sit on his computer and wouldn't answer the phone and when he did he'd just tell customers to go to the website. Or he'd be on chat rooms or looking at his stocks but didn't get caught not working. And then I found out he got a pay rise too, which really pissed me off, as I knew how little work he was doing. So he was obviously sucking up to the boss or something.
But later that year I had a trip to the US and when I came back he said he was leaving. So obvously he couldn't handle the job without someone there to help him. Although he probably would have got fired if he didn't leave as well.
