I mean, come on! 500 billion for the military in the budget while slashing important education programs and giving them 1/500th what the military gets? Not one program to help rebuild school infrastructure, which is some of the worst in the entire U.S.? His bullshit high-stakes testing No Child Gets a Second Chance eats up most of the paltry budget, too. I remember that education was Shrub's mantra, his red meat issue. He was the "compassionate conservative" he wouldn't leave a single child behind. Bullshit. Just as he owned up to the WMDs hes got own up to this. Because I"m going to call him on it. My mother, a hard-working schoolteacher who keeps getting screwed over by QEO and Bush's insane edicts will call him on. Down with Bush!
