Maeko Siu
The Tournament Of The Warriors Of Old
Book 1
Prologue
"In Oddworld" is how i will start this story. This story is about the great past, and the great but grave events that occured which would decipher the fate of the future. The great but grave events that made Oddworld what it is today. Long before the mighty moons were shaped, and the very ancient markings were mere infants, long before time was time. Older than ancient, younger than creation. The world was but a new world with a great prophecy that it's new inhabitants must fulfill. The cataclysmic event that shaped the very body of this known world was to take place a second time by the hands of a living being. This being is the one destined to complete Oddworld and sacrifice his life at his own free will in exchange for the one piece of that puzzle that was lost in creation, and will forever ensure that it's future will be a peaceful one.
The great king of the Elders Maeko Siu was destined to be the one as said the prophecy passed along from the stars, to the tree tops, to the tree roots, to the rocks, and to the Elders across the world. But Maeko was blinded, for there are others who seek the cataclysmic power for themselves, evil beings. Evil beings who would use the power to his bidding and recreate the world in hellish chaos ruled by him. The Elders have used there elemental powers of the earth, wind, water, and fire to forever guard this power and open it only for the destined one, Maeko Siu. But Maeko was killed and the prophecy was no more, the elders dropped their sheild and all hope was lost. For some reason, noone was continuing their search for this great power. The Elders had died off making the power useless until the Elders could restore it with their souls, but they chose not to. The Elders used their souls to guard the dying power instead of restoring it in hopes that prophecy was incorrect and that a champion would rise up and complete the fractured world.......but....like the Elders predicted, it never happened.
