I don't care much for arguing with you on this point, as it wasn't the most important part of what i was talking about.
Another example of how people on this forum will skip the most important bit, just to get to something only relevant to them. Or to find something to argue about.
No offense PA but the USA is no more or less important than any other country. It doesn't deserve special treatment just because it makes a point of its freedom. Other countries around the world aren't going about erecting 300 foot statues - but that doesn't mean they don't have freedom and liberties. They run their country, and their people are happy. They don't get into wars, they don't have twisted legal systems.
Yet there's the US yelling a bawling, running about town with boomsticks and freedom protest signs, getting into all sorts of trouble. The point being that perhaps your freedom and liberties obsessed nation isn't doing itself any good. Therefore you shouldn't argue for it as though it's a lost cause.
And I have no idea why freedom and liberties even came into this discussion, because it has nothing to do with what George Bush has done to the US.
