It's just the way people write. I capitalise all species names on Oddworld, save for bats, bees, birds and such, because it's the most common way the Inhabitants write, eg "Status is very important to Sligs." <

EDIT: As for Interns' loyalty, it may simply be a case of loyalty. They've been described as finks, and we should all know that they're not at all smart creatures, so maybe like Sligs they simply don't come up with the idea of revolting. They haven't exactly got nasty jobs, anyway.
