Yeah, I saw that documentary...I've wathced them all! Bwahahaha!  Anyway, Brad Dourif said the wind was blowing so much that the spit flew in another direction opposite Viggo's hand. I was just stating that it was amazing that Viggo Mortenson was even willing to have someone spit on his hand.

Oh ok my bad. I agree with you the dedication of the actors, especially Viggo when he chipped his tooth in the Helms deep night shoots, when he asked if anyone had Super glue so they could glue it back on for the shot. Although they wouldnt let him do that he went to the dentist and was back on set for shooting about two hours later. It just amazes me when I find out about all the things these actors endured and just took it all in.
