I saw it yesterday, a wonderful movie! But, sadly, it was sort of ruined for me. I went to see it with my dad and two of my brothers. And my little brother didn't like it much. So he pounded his head against the seat, cracked his fingers, whistled(!) and ate hard caramels. Everytime there was a quiet sequence, you could hear him chew those stupid caramels with his mouth open. The deformed (the really ugly one, I don't know the right word) orc, every time he came on the screen my brother poked me simply because I had been joking with him earlier saying that orcs were sexy. Anyway...
Good:
- How Gollum was so evil! Tricking poor little Frodo....
- Shelob. I'm an arachnophobiac, so the first time she came on the screen I almost screamed. She was brilliant!
- The war outside Minas Tirith.
- The undead was nicely done. When the undead leader smiled, you could see his teeth clearly. When he closed his mouth, you could see that his lips covered the teeth and you could see his lips and his teeth anyway. Never seen a ghost like that.
- The orcs' fight in the tower. Whee !
- The really ugly orcish leader in Minas Tirith. Just loved the part when the humans threw rocks and them and he just took a step aside and spat on it.

Bad:
- The part when Éowyn fought the witch-king could have been better. I understand you get a bit too cocky with all the might that he had, but when she took her helmet off, he would've reacted faster. He could have done something to show his might, like stung his sword into the ground and then start talking to her.
- Why, oh why must Legolas be so super-heroic?! The oliphant part was just too much.
- I might have gotten this wrong, but it took a whole day and night to light the beacons, and the riders of Rohan got there in three days? Have I misunderstood everything?
- Gollum should have just burnt to death in Mount Doom. The fact that he laid in the lava staring at the ring wouldn't leave me alone.

Didn't Gimli and Legolas leave with the last boat from Middle Earth? When Shelob stung Frodo, why didn't the Mithril armor protect him?

There.
