So please enlighten me of this 'sadness'.
It was just very emotionaly gripping and moved me so much at the part where Sam is holding Frodo and telling him that it was Spring in the Shire......yeah, I started crying and didn't stop until credits. To just see Sam's devotion and love for Frodo came across so real and genuine. We've all taken this journey with the fellowship for the past three years......you know the characters and feel like you're a part of them. No film has ever done that to me before. And when Aragorn tells the hobbits that they bow to no-one was very powerfull....especially when these four friends have all of Minas Tirth bowing to them in honor. I could go on and on about this movie......these movies. Absolutely my favorite movie trillogy of all time. And yeah, it was sad to see Gandalf leaving. Like losing a father to the little Shirelings. And after all Sam did for Frodo, he still lost his friend in the end. The ring brought them together...as well as seperated them. It was sad dammit!
