I don't have to do a 'spoilers gap', since this is a spoiler thread, do I? Nope. That's good.
It was a brilliant movie, easily the greatest of the three, I felt that in about the first hour. Although, I know they can't change it, because of the book and all, but I think it would have been more epic had Frodo also falled into the lava. I thought it was going to happen too (haven't read ROTK book). It also could have been a bit shorter at the end, after the ring was destroyed it was pretty boring. And can someone tell me what was actually sad enough to cry about? I can't see anything, since Gollum turned to a shit at the end, people wanted him to die, and Frodo went away, but that isn't really sad. They could have made it sad by as the boat floated away it blew up. But it wasn't. So please enlighten me of this 'sadness'.
