No, Saddam WASN'T the reason we went to war. We went to disarm supposed WoMD and didn't find any.
Am I the only one that remembers the "countdown to disarm?" If our intentions were only to liberate Iraq, we wouldn't have given Saddam a f*cking timelimit to disarm his "Weapons of Mass Destruction." We would have just gone in, kicked his ass, and left. Instead, we (Why am I even using the word "we?"
Aren't you "from" Russia?) waited. We waited for him to disarm weapons that he didn't have. Then, when Saddam refused to disarm the (so far) non-existant weapons, we swooped in and "liberated" the Iraqis. After all,
with our seemingly infinite supply of oil and money, it would just look
terrible if we were wrong for once.
