Saddam should sue Bush. My dad and I came up with this remarkable plan this morning. He should sue him for several reasons, all of which have been mentioned above, but I'll just make a further iteration of the most important.

1) American and British troops had no right to enter Iraq, not politically and not morally.
2) Bush and Blair made unfounded accusations again him, re weapons of mass destruction.
3) Someone high up is dictating that Saddam should be tried fairly. The only way they have of doing this is to have Saddam tried in an Iraqi court. This is stupid for two reasons:

a) It wouldn't be a fair trial, because the Iraqi populace hold too much hatred towards the man.
b) Saddam has broken no political laws. He killed his own people, but didn't kill anyone else's people. He killed his own people, but because he controlled the laws, it was by all definitions legal. Morally unacceptable, maybe, but in the court this doesn't count. He also threatened other countries, but on a country-scale, this is not illegal. If it was America would have to squeeze itself into prison for several consecutive life sentences.

What's more, it would be beautifully ironic that a man that harbours such negative feelings towards the West can use their own faults against them. I say Saddam should do it, and I mean that. Teach the government two lessons at once - they suck, and they're not paying enough attention to this pathetic suing wave.
