I think you guys are on to something about Stranger. I think the idea of hunter transforming and then becoming the hunted, while still trying to earn a living, is very plausible.
Maybe the boat is a robot, with AI and capable of self propulsion. I doubt it though.
This is sort of a tangent, but I wonder if we will ever get around to seeing a Shrink. I hope there is one in the next Quintology game...
One last thought. Did anyone notice the little fins on the salamanger arms? It is reasonable to think they are a pretty aquatic species. I can picture one slowly rising out of a creek, just enought to shoot a blow dart at an animal and then go back underwater.
