Ok, thanks to Rich the Intern's suggestion, I have added another field to the Character's Profile.
Key items: These are items that your character will be given throughout the story, like Joey currently has Lloyd's Panic Button. These cannot be on the item list, and there can only be one of each unless whiever made the first one states there are more around.
When Obtaining key items, make it fit to yuor character's story, don't just say " he finds a map on the floor" make it be exciting and relevent to the plot.
