I would most likely put my painting in a mini pod and the force of the blast wave would send the pod hurdling through space.

Somehow science can figure that problem out. Comming up with the special pod. Thats why I said it would take time to prepair such a container to withstand that intense heat and force. Then when the last hour comes I would paint what I see then run to the pod with the painting place it in the pod, throw it into a deep hole bury it with concrete and sit in a chair and die watching the world end.

The earth would be ripped apart into many fragments or astroids by the force, but the pod will be on one of the earth astroids that go hurdling through space. Along of whats left of my body and the piece of earth I live on. Because it was buried deep into the ground it would be buried deep in the astroid when all is set and done frozen for eternity.
