I've been going back over the story. There's a lot of stuff I'd forgoten, like Vidash's "fangs".
As for what to do about the huge guy...
I doubt he's very smart, so you might be able to think of a way out after you say that you're not Welfos (and you technicaly aren't, your Sleepwalker)... but not if your frightened...
mmm...
I'd get ready to run, and ask him what he wants with this "Welfos" character.
