Okay, it's taken me a while to reply to this cause I'm not too sure what happened in the last part. The plot just seemed to zip ahead, and then come near a blank!
I guess you (Vidash) could go back, or take the long way... but which to do..?
And the plot hints when you meet yourself:
"That's what my companions called me."
Also, did they find you or your double?
(I don't expect you to answer that question, I'm just thinking aloud!)
As for what to do next...

...I guess you ask Zeke if he can go back to the Lady. If not, continue onward and search for faster travel.
