Faith is a good part of it, and I'm glad you brought that up. In the Bible, after Christ was reurected, Jesus showed Himself to Mary and told her to go and tell the others. Mary told the others and they had to rely on faith that her story was real. But Thomas said he would not believe unless he was able to see the wounds and touch them himself. When Thomas made this statement, he did not realize that 3 days later Jesus would show Himself to everybody and that he'd have to keep his promise and touch Jesus's wounds. Jesus said, "Blessed are those who had faith and believed without seeing." Faith is required, but I also have a testimony of God's power and have been blessed and seen many miracles. I know God is real, because I have a good relationship with Him.
